The Mirror
Gravity & Other Myths makes a distinctive form of Circus theatre, where artists push their boundaries to the limit.
Human towers explode, while acrobats fly all over the place in an excruciating tempo. They play with facades, reality, illusions and expectations. They focus on themselves and the audience with cameras, selfie sticks, smoke-effects, loud music and film. They expose vanity and posing by asking the question: Do you see who you want to be or who you are?
The Australian Circus theatre-group Gravity & Other Myths pushes the boundaries of what is physically possible. In the mirror, they prove themselves once again as one of the best circus companies in the world. The performance contains 8 acrobats and is directed by Darcy Grant and Jascha Boyce, while a live singer performs pop medleys composed by Ekrem Eli Phoenix.
