Wannacirque?!
Every year, circus schools overflow with talent. The Leuven circus school Cirkus in Beweging welcomes three other schools from Belgium. The students are eager to give their best on stage.
Pack your things, put on your backpack, take your map in hand and… on y va! In this playful and energetic circus performance, the artists set off on a journey. Flying, jumping, and lifting one another, they discover that the journey itself is sometimes more important than the destination. Will you join this acrobatic adventure?
About the production group
Wanna Cirque?! is a collective of young circus makers from Mortsel, aged between 14 and 30, connected to Art to Move vzw. Since 2021, they have been creating annual circus productions under the artistic guidance of Lauro Crijns, Kass VanderSande, and Jis van Houselt, with co-creation at the heart of their work. Each project starts from a theme chosen together. Members contribute their own creations (solos and duets), which are then integrated into a group performance. Their approach is collective, inclusive, and exploratory. They not only coach technical skills but also guide the young artists in their creative process and artistic expression.
