From 7 to 9 May 2027, CIRKL will celebrate its tenth edition. For the third time, the festival will take over the Philipssite in Leuven with surprising creations from Belgium and abroad. 

During this festive edition, we pose a thought-provoking question: what space does the circus occupy today? Literally, culturally and socially. Whereas the circus was once a temporary fringe phenomenon, linked to tradition and travel, it has now grown into a vibrant and innovative art form that is very much alive. At CIRKL, you can experience for yourself how circus tents and performers occupy a space, how spaces inspire and transform, and how new stories emerge. Discover how the circus relates to the city, to the audience and to today’s world.
